LonelyWifeHookup has shut down
LonelyWifeHookup no longer responds at all. If you are looking for it, here is what we can confirm, what we cannot, and what to do if you had an account.
What we checked
Aug 12, 2026What we can confirm
The domain stopped serving anything. It does not redirect to a replacement, it does not show a holding page, and it does not return an error page from a working server. It simply does not answer.
That pattern usually means the hosting is gone rather than the site being temporarily broken. We are recording it as closed and will update this page if it comes back.
What we cannot confirm
We do not know why it closed, who operated it, or what happened to the accounts and messages that were on it. We looked for a closure notice and did not find one. The absence of an announcement is itself worth noting: users of this platform were not, as far as we can tell, told that it was ending.
If you had an account
- Check your card and PayPal statements for recurring charges. A site going offline does not automatically cancel a subscription, and the billing processor is often a separate company that is still operating.
- Cancel at the payment provider, not the site. With the site gone there is no account page to cancel from. Your bank or PayPal can stop a recurring authorisation directly.
- Change any password you reused. If the same password protects your email or bank, change those first. When a platform disappears without notice, there is no one left to tell you if its data was mishandled.
- Assume your profile content still exists somewhere. Databases outlive websites. Treat anything you uploaded as potentially still held.
Where people went instead
We are not going to hand you a ranked list of replacements on a page about a platform that vanished without telling anyone. What we would suggest is checking who operates a platform before signing up, which is the one thing that would have flagged this risk in advance. Our comparison table shows operator and status for every platform we track.
